Childers Assists MTGCD at Moola Festival in Stephenville

Earlier this month, Myla Childers (Erath Co.) assisted one of our sponsors (Midde Trinity Groundwater Conservation District) with their booth at the local Moola festival in Stephenville. She helped spread information to onlookers about the aquifer below them and different rock types even providing a core sample from the limestone in our area. Attendees were able to spin a wheel and depending on the color that’s what kind of questions they had. They were also able to take home some informational packets, water efficient facet heads, and many other items to get people thinking about where their water usage.
